Member of Comité 21
In 1992, at the Rio Earth Summit, 173 Heads of State and government signed an action programme for the 21st century: Agenda 21. This diagnosis of the limitations of a destructive growth pattern outlined the course of direction to take for more responsible, equitable and humane development.
The French Committee for Environment and Sustainable Development – called COMITE 21 – has been created in 1995, just like GROUPE ACCELIS. The initial years of the association have been essentially dedicated to teaching sustainable development and the exchanges between the members. Today, sustainable development has made the transition from theory to practice and must be nurtured with concrete, collaborative, evaluated and properly discussed projects.
Groupe ACCELIS, by choosing to be a member of Comité 21, commits to a real and sincere policy of sustainable development for all its activities.
